The series Humanvases was conceived from a reflection on the nature of the vessel itself: vases exist to create space, to give form to the void. In No. 2, this idea is translated into a human-like form, where the body becomes a container, and the gesture suggests an empathetic relationship with the viewer.
 
Handmade in red stoneware, the vessel is twice-fired at high temperature and finished with engobes, resulting in a surface that balances material depth with chromatic clarity. Each work is unique and non-repeatable, reflecting the artist’s commitment to small-batch, authentic making and her rejection of standardised production.
