Francesca Romana Cicia, Before it fades VI
The sculpture unfolds through layered organic forms emerging from an open ceramic structure, where crystalline glazes and fluid blue tonalities evoke processes of growth, erosion, and disappearance. Balancing fragility and tension, the work reflects the artist’s investigation into the void as a generative space — a place where fragments, traces, and interruptions become part of the form itself.
Rooted in an experimental ceramic practice, Cicia’s work examines memory as an unstable composition of remains and absences, suspended between what persists and what fades away.
