This series of porcelain bowls by Claudio Campana are handmade through mould-based ceramic processes. The bowls retain subtle traces of their making, allowing the material to reveal both precision and irregularity.
 
The exterior surface is articulated by a rhythmic pattern that recalls architectural ornamentation. A decoration created with black engobe introduces tonal depth across the porcelain body, generating a softly vibrating surface that emphasises the geometry of the form.
In contrast, the interior remains smooth and refined, highlighting the tactile qualities of porcelain.
 
Conceived as both tableware and collectible ceramic objects, the bowls reflect Campana’s interest in contemporary Italian ceramics where traditional craft techniques meet modular design thinking.
