Anna Resmini, Useless Vases - The Lighthouse
For Resmini, the vessel exists to create space: its purpose lies in the void it contains rather than in use. In The Lighthouse, geometry and colour evoke an architectural rhythm, giving the object a quiet, anchoring presence.
Handmade in white stoneware, the vessel is twice-fired at high temperature and finished with engobes, resulting in a surface that balances material depth with chromatic clarity. Each work is unique and non-repeatable, reflecting the artist’s commitment to small-batch, authentic making and her rejection of standardised production.
