Alice Reina, Janas Couple, Grande
Composed of thin curved porcelain structures with contrasting black and white surfaces, the work creates an architectural dialogue between lightness and tension. The textured edges and fractured surfaces evoke traces of erosion and transformation, while the vertical forms suggest thresholds, silent presences, or fragmented landscapes suspended in space.
Rooted in Reina’s research into fragility as an active condition, the work transforms porcelain into a medium of spatial perception and emotional resonance, balancing delicacy with structural strength.
