For Daniela, the Nest is an enduring archetype that runs through her work across sculpture, painting, and drawing. In the Nidi, this research remains concentrated in an essential, almost primordial form, where memory, protection, and belonging converge.
 
Hand-built in clay and kiln-fired, the sculpture embodies the intimate and contemplative dimension of the Nidi series. Its elongated form and dark opening evoke a place of retreat and introspection. Neither vessel nor architecture, it exists as a symbolic presence — a space to inhabit emotionally rather than physically.
