"Raccolto /Harvest” is a series of hand-modelled porcelain works.
The form is simple: an open oval, almost like a cocoon. Everything revolves around the idea of containing, of gathering, of welcoming. Each piece offers an empty space to be filled, like the hollow created by two hands cupping water.
 
"The sculptures are irregular in their rhythm, and each can be placed differently on a surface, as they have no fixed base. Balance must be sought, as I prefer not to impose a single orientation on the forms, leaving them free to rotate and claim their own space." Etra Masi
